Who's Elitist Again?

on 16 Apr : 11:24  Posted by Brassmask  Category: Misc
Our old and dear friend, W J Clinton said that young people are naive.

Boston.com

"I think there is a big reason there's an age difference in a lot of these polls," he said. "Because once you've reached a certain age, you won't sit there and listen to somebody tell you there's really no difference between what happened in the Bush years and the Clinton years; that there's not much difference in how small-town Pennsylvania fared when I was president, and in this decade."

Is it me or does Bill seem to be trying to undermine Hillary? Could that even be possible?

You know, earlier this week they made a big deal out of him trying to explain away Hillary's lies about that trip to Bosnia and now he's saying that young voters are naive because they want to believe that America can be a better place where people vote FOR something instead of against someone.

Is that naive? I don't think so. Is it idealistic? Absolutely yes. We must not forget that idealism got some Americans the right to vote. It got some Americans their freedom. It got all of us our freedom. Idealism got Americans to the moon.

Idealism has gotten a bad rap. Let's bring it back.

Total Claaaaassssss...(sarcasm)

Bonus Quote of the Day
"I'm going to tell you something: That boy's finger does not need to be on the button."

-- Rep. Geoff Davis (R-KY), quoted by NBC News, about Sen. Barack Obama. He later issued an apology to Obama, essentially saying he misspoke.

Neo-con Comes To Hillary's Assist

on 14 Apr : 14:24  Posted by Brassmask  Category: Misc
No Hillary supporter bats an eye.

William Kristol is about the biggest lying sack on this earth. He tries to come off as a "journalist" or "writer" but he is nothing more than a propagandist out to influence minds in favor of the neo-conservative ideology, insanity and empirical plans for world domination.

There is little doubt in my mind that the Clintons (and their DLC co-horts) are in league with the neo-cons. Kristol only cements my theory even more by spouting the same nonsense as Hillary and her ilk.

...He’s disdainful of small-town America — one might say, of bourgeois America. He’s usually good at disguising this. But in San Francisco the mask slipped. And it’s not so easy to get elected by a citizenry you patronize.

And what are the grounds for his supercilious disdain? If he were a war hero, if he had a career of remarkable civic achievement or public service — then he could perhaps be excused an unattractive but in a sense understandable hauteur. But what has Barack Obama accomplished that entitles him to look down on his fellow Americans?

And Hillary thinks that Gore and Kerry "lost" because they were "seen as elitist". WTF? Um, last i heard GORE WON. And Kerry WAS AN ELITIST PIECE OF CRAP.

That Hillary Clinton and William Kristol are daring to call Barack Obama (who I understand is monetarily worth about 2% what the Clintons and McCain are worth) is an outstanding bit of hubris and insanity.

They're really starting to piss me off.
